Every year, the Transplant Games happens in a different city around the UK. Every year, somewhere upwards of 700 transplant athletes compete in a wide range of sports, and at a wide range of abilities.

have to admit, I’m a bit nervous about this one.
say I have spent some time in The Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children in Belfast…would be, well, a very large understatement.
Birmingham Children’s Hospital has been like a second home to me over the past decade. Myself and my family have spent many a days (and nights) there, watching movies, waiting for scans, listening to machines bleeping and being treated by the best staff you could wish for.
