On the tenth day of Christmas, my donor gave to me…A Levels.
As Christmas is coming to an end, unfortunately so is the relaxation, the movie watching, the staying up late and the ignoring work.
For the past few days, I have been getting back into studying for my mocks next week and as everyone goes back to work and school, things can start to get very busy again, and the Christmas cheer can seem to slip away.
I don’t know about anyone else, but January is actually one of my favourite months. I love the cosiness of winter, the fact that things still seem a little Christmassy, and the fact that it’s a new year that brings new hope and opportunities.
I am aware once again, that I have so thankfully been given another year to enjoy, because of the decision made by a total stranger and their family, that allowed me to live.
Instead of the ‘January Blues’ that everyone talks about – why not start January, and the year ahead, in purple. Purple is the colour which symbolises hope, mystery, new life and courage.

2017 holds mystery, that we can only discover by living life with everything we have. So enjoy every 365 days of this new adventure, and see what happens!
